Flisom AG

Opens external link in new windowFlisom AG is a Swiss solar technology company, manufacturing thin, light, flexible and aesthetically pleasing solar modules based on Cu(In,Ga)Se2 absorber material. It was founded in 2005 as a spin-off company of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich, and is now completing its first pilot production line (15 MWp/year) in Niederhasli (Switzerland). Flisom’s products focus on enabling solar energy in ways not possible before.

As manufacturer of CIGS solar modules on flexible substrate via roll-to-roll method, Flisom is a potential end-user of some measurement methods developed within the project. It will work closely with partners to assess the different methodologies for industrial suitability. First measurements on the R&D pilot production CIGS coater can be expected within the project lifetime. Specifically, Flisom will collaborate with Empa for (time-resolved) photoluminescence (TRPL) measurements and with HZB for X-ray based methods.
